About Us
A Long History in Art

Mr. J. Kerr has been in the fine art and graphic design fields for more than 35 years. His most recent position was Director of Marketing and Web Development, (and sole graphics and web designer) for a high-tech company in Boulder, Colorado. After serving this company for over eight years, he became disabled and decided to move back to Georgia to be near his family and continue his work in the design and art field.

Originally trained by his father, a lead illustrator for Columbia Pictures, he also attended the Pan-American School of Art and Design in New York City and has worked with digital graphics and video systems since 1986, starting with his first Commodore Amiga A-1000 computer. He has been working with high-end art and design tools like Photoshop since its earliest PC version.

The Amiga A 1000 was far ahed of its time.

 

 

 

 



Company Information

BlueRidge Associates, Inc. was formed in 1990 to provide a sales mechanism for work done by Mr. Kerr, whether fine art or graphic designs for offset print pieces, digital posters and web sites.
